Western Forested Fire Danger Rating Area
Mostly dry forest type, but also includes the Western foothills of the Blue Mountains which are mostly grass and brush. Large areas have not had frequent fires in the past few decades, so despite being vegetation conducive to frequent, low severity fires, fires can be severe. This area has the highest number of 10 to 300 acre fires.Map of FDRAs
