TARGET GROUP - PLDO refresher is an annual requirement for certified Plastic Sphere Dispenser Operator position.

TRAINEE PREREQUISITES

• Students should have an Interagency Aviation Training (IAT) profile established prior to the training. Profiles can be established at: https://www.iat.gov/.

COURSE DESCRIPTION - PLDO refresher provides required annual technical refresher training and a comprehensive review of procedures and equipment for agency personnel certified as PLDO. Students will receive classroom training and will be asked to demonstrate thorough knowledge of procedures to safely conduct PLDO operations. This is a performance-based training module requiring successful completion of instructor led presentation and exercises.

COURSE OBJECTIVES - Personnel seeking initial certification as PLDO are required to attend an Initial Plastic Sphere Dispenser Operator certification course.
